We are a committed group of volunteers who monitor the activities of hunts in and around Dorset to observe their activities, in order to witness and record evidence of illegal fox hunting taking place and reporting to the police.
We liaise closely with local police forces to ensure the voices of those affected by the hunts activities are heard and urge the police to do all they can to take the appropriate action.
We attend on average 50 to 60 hunts a season from August to April. We work closely with other anti hunt groups and have established a broad network of local residents and landowners throughout the area who pass on information to us relating to local hunts.
We have been able to highlight many instances where hunts have acted illegally whether by actively hunting foxes, by endangering road users by failing to control their hounds on roads, trespassing on nature reserves and private property and carrying out anti-social behaviour in the community.
